Welcome to the Beyond Calf Exports Stakeholders forum!

Each year nearly half a million unwanted male dairy calves are born in the UK. Unable to produce milk, and generally considered unsuitable for rearing for meat, many of these calves are slaughtered or transported on long journeys to continental veal farms.

Members of this forum are working towards an economically viable solution that will stop this practice and ensure British calves are reared in the UK to our higher welfare standards.
